Welcome to Olofsfors Mill
Olofsfors Mill, founded in 1762, is one of Sweden’s best-preserved industrial heritage sites and one of Västerbotten County’s largest tourist attractions.
Visiting Olofsfors Bruk is like stepping into another era. Along the Leduån River, the more than 250-year-old ironworks spreads out and silences both long-distance tourists and daily local visitors. Iron has always been in focus here at the mill and still does today, even though it is now a place for many cultural activities.
Enjoy our beautiful surroundings, the children’s play path, a peaceful coffee break, guided tours, a visit to the mill museum or the clockmaker’s museum. We recommend visiting some of our mill companions for shopping and exploring one of our summer exhibitions.
EVENTS AT THE MILL
The mill is a place in constant change, where the same space is set for a wedding one day and hosts a concert the next. In our conference/event hall, you can comfortably enjoy larger dinners one day and attend a course or lecture the next.
The mill offers both open and bookable events, with markets, concerts, courses, workshops, and themed weekends among the highlights. A day with market stalls, car meet-ups, a gallery opening, barbecue evenings, or music in the forge, or perhaps a kick-off or training day for your company and colleagues?
